Savannah Sunset Resort features 20 luxury glamping tents with unique vistas located within our Wild Safari
Guests will park at ‘Base Camp’ located at the entrance to the Wild Safari and will be escorted via our off-road vehicles to the resort location
The resort will be located in our Wild Safari Park reimagining the area currently known as Camp Aventura. It is one of the highest points in Jackson New Jersey offering scenic vistas of the African Plains section within our 350-acre safari.
There will be 3 styles of overnight accommodations to choose from offering families and couples choices of King, Queen, Twin, pull-out sofa, and/or bunk beds
Suites can accommodate up to 6 guests depending on the style and vary in size from 400 up to 550 sq. ft. Verandahs offer 150 sq. ft. of outdoor space.
Each unit is equipped with a kitchenette and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and HVAC units. The overall accommodations will vary based on the style chosen.
The menu offerings are still being created but the resort will have a reception/dining area with a bar
The Spa will offer two treatment rooms along with a jacuzzi
Our event space is ideal for private dining/meetings/bridal parties and more
In addition to the spa, the resort will feature outdoor games, a fire pit, and an entertainment space allowing for movies under the stars, music, animal encounters, lectures, and more
Various package options including behind-the-scenes tours, animal encounters, VIP tours, and access to all 3 Six Flags Great Adventure theme parks, can be added to your overnight stay for an additional cost
Our tentative opening date is Memorial Day Weekend
Pricing will start at $500-$1,500 a night per tent based on party size, package, and location
Amenities are reserved for overnight/private event guests staying at the resort
Pricing and package costs are currently being finalized. Resort access will be exclusive to resort guests
The Camp Aventura animals are being well taken care of in other areas of the park. The giraffe feeding experience will be changing in 2024 as we will once again be offering the Safari Off Road Adventure tour included with your theme park ticket.
Next year Six Flags Great Adventure is celebrating its 50th anniversary in a BIG way with a celebration next summer featuring a new roller coaster and more
Our 15th roller coaster, THE FLASH: Vertical Velocity will debut in 2024. This Super boomerang coaster is the first of its kind in the Western Hemisphere rushing guests forward and backward at nearly 60 miles per hour through a 180-degree twisted drop and zero-G roll.
The Wild Safari is no longer a drive through experience. Our Safari Off Road Adventure will return in 2024 allowing guests to experience the safari with a tour guide and driver on our off-road vehicles. The safari will once again be included in a theme park ticket or guests can enjoy the safari by purchasing a tour at the Wild Safari entrance.
