New General Manager Named for Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown

Operations Industry Veteran Maggie Thomas Promoted to New Role

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the world’s largest regional theme park company and the largest operator of waterparks in North America, today announced that Maggie Thomas has been named General Manager of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown. 

Maggie succeeds Chris Thomas who is now the General Manager at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Arlington, Texas. She most recently served as Operations and Human Resources Manager at Splashtown.

“Maggie is an industry veteran who has been a dedicated team member for nearly 22 years. She is a proven leader recognized and respected by the aquatics industry for her significant achievements,” said Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Hurricane Harbor Splashtown Park President Jeffrey Siebert. “Maggie is the perfect person to elevate the Houston team and drive the park to record results in 2022,” added Siebert.

Thomas started her waterpark career in 1999, as a seasonal lifeguard at SplashTown, while attending Sam Houston State University. “I am genuinely excited to take on this new role as General Manager with an amazing company,” said Thomas. “I thoroughly enjoy working at Splashtown and look forward to providing the highest level of safety and service to our guests, community, and team.”

As an avid leader in the water park industry, Thomas is a CPO, Ellis and Associates Instructor
Trainer, AIMS Aquatics Level 1, and an EMT.
