Thrilling Slides, Lazy Rivers and Plenty of Sunshine Await North Texans
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, the largest waterpark in North Texas, is ushering in summer fun as the park opens for the season on Saturday, May 1. Bigger, Better, Wetter Thrills are in store for guests looking for the best waterpark rides and slides.
“Hurricane Harbor has offered a way to beat the summer heat for nearly four decades, and we’re excited to start what will be a great season here in Arlington”, said Six Flags Hurricane Harbor park director Tyrone Taylor. “From our best in-class water slides to interactive family areas, guests are excited to get back out to experience everything at the park.”
New in 2021 is Banzai Pipeline, a four-story waterslide complex boasting three unique body slides that will spin, splash, and swirl guests down nearly 300-feet. Banzai Pipeline will officially open to guests on Saturday, May 29.
Hurricane Harbor offers guests more than 40 rides, slides, attractions, and pools across a sprawling 47 acres with three million gallons of water. Families can enjoy the adventures of Splashwater Beach and Hook’s Lagoon or take a relaxing ride on the Lazy River. Experienced thrill seekers can take on classics like Dive Bomber and Geronimo, or guest-favorites Tsunami Surge and Typhoon Twister!
To help monitor park attendance, all Members, Season Pass Holders, and guests with one-day tickets will be required to make a reservation to visit the park. In addition:
- Life Jackets, rides, tubes and rafts, deck chairs, handrails, and dining and restroom facilities will be cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Multiple alcohol-based hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the park for guest and team member usage.
- All guests over the age of two and all team members will be required to wear face masks covering the nose and mouth throughout their visit/work day; and
- Masks will not be required on waterslides, water attractions or in pools.
