Six Flags Friends is a series of programs throughout the Six Flags family of parks that makes a difference in communities by encouraging local involvement, supporting the mission of various non-profit organizations and bringing the thrill of Six Flags to children and families across North America.
Six Flags Friends is a proud supporter of hundreds of organizations throughout our Six Flags communities. Through our national partnerships, we successfully utilize our geographic span to make a difference as a unified family of parks. Through our donation program, Frontier City is able to contribute to hundreds of local organizations each year that make an impact in our surrounding neighborhoods. With a focus on education, disabilities, the underprivileged, and animal causes, Frontier City is proud to support charitable programs that make our local communities a better place to live, work, and play.

Six Flags Friends is dedicated to furthering the mission of the following organizations:
Oklahoma Blood Institute
Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) is the sixth largest, non profit blood collector in America. Every two seconds, someone is in need of blood. Frontier City partners with OBI to encourage blood donation across the state. Each donation can save up to three lives.
Special Olympics Oklahoma
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Every year, Hurricane Harbor OKC hosts the Special Olympics OK Polar Plunge to raise money for this wonderful cause.
Make-a-Wish Foundation
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. Six Flags is proud to be a part of this amazing wish-granting organization and is excited to fulfill the wishes of children who dream of visiting Frontier City.
Project 6
Every year the employees of Frontier City designate a Project 6 Day, a time to give back to the community. Project 6, is a day that our team of employees go out and do various projects such a painting, cleaning, landscaping, filling food boxes and minor repairs. Every year the park is looking to the community to help them find the right project where they can make a difference for a person, family or non-profit organization that has a need that may not have other resources to get that need met. With one day and 30 to 60 Frontier City team members coming together to create change, there is no project too small.
